Lawrence Alexander

Remedial Massage Therapist

Lawrence’s interest in manual therapy came through his upbringing in Asia and the Middle East where approaches such as massage and acupuncture are used to treat musculoskeletal issues as well as specific health issues, and in particular the success such treatment had on his childhood asthma.

This stimulated a lifelong study in the body, its self-healing capabilities and the ramifications of physical disturbances on health. Culminating in formal studies in Osteopathy in Europe and Remedial Massage Therapy in Australia whilst also pursuing his own interest in movement and flow.

As a practitioner Lawrence is interested in the intersection and potential of health, holistic bodywork and movement. These principles alongside a firm basis in Orthopaedic diagnosis, anatomical knowledge, physiology and roles of structure and function inform his treatments and client care.
